CALIFORNIA, The City of Fort Bragg is located approximately 165 miles north of San Francisco and 188 miles west of Sacramento on the scenic coast of Mendocino County. The entire city of Fort Bragg is a California Historic Landmark! The Wesley Chesbro Pudding Creek Trestle crossing the creek was built in 1916. The beaches are dotted with these wind swept trees and it is beautiful as the high tides wash up under the trestle. This is all part of the State of California Mackerricher State Park area.
